To strengthen collaborative action under Innovation for Change among organizations across Africa working on human rights and transparency & accountability, CIVICUS, (World Alliance for Citizen Participation), together with Counterpart International, is establishing an innovative mechanisms to support civil society networking at a regional level. One of the mechanisms is the Africa Hub based in Nairobi.
As a preliminary step in this process, Nottawasaga Institute, based in Nairobi, has been engaged to undertake an assessment and develop an organizational directory on these issues. The study will also develop comparative case studies of best practices across the different regions of the continent.
An online survey has been set up to gather data on stakeholders and partners working on the issues of transparency and accountability and on human rights in Africa. The survey seeks information on country contexts and themes of operation, types of activities, partners, influencers, potential opportunities and challenges, etc. Click here to complete the questionnaire. Filling the survey should take around 15 minutes.
Being part of the survey will link your organization to future advocacy initiatives being planned under the Innovation for Change Africa hub platform.
